Community Waterfront Heritage Centre

The Community Waterfront Heritage Centre (CWHC) is located on Owen Sound's picturesque harbour at 1155 1st Ave West, in a historic 1932 CN Rail Station, it is the last train station of its kind in Ontario. The museum features artifacts & archives, working train models, a 1930s CNR caboose and the 1953 CNR train car. Be sure to check out the exquisite ship model collection, and if you are there at 12 or 5 p.m. enjoy the sound of the historic Kennedy Whistle. The CWHC is a charitable, volunteer based organization, committed to preserving the rich marine, rail and industrial history of Owen Sound.
